As a long-time fan of both manga and anime, I know that a good story would be nothing without it’s cast of characters and Japanese manga’s often have a lot of them, each with their own distinctive characteristics.
Here you have the complete cast of characters of ‘Pierre the Baking Cat’ in order of importance!
I’ll try to add new and interesting characters as the story goes on, whenever I see fit (^v ^ )

In the meantime, you can check out this site I found that covers the most frequent character stereotypes in Japanese manga and/or anime. Pretty interesting reading, indeed.
◆ Anime Character Types

	Age: Young Favorite food: Everything sweet, sushi, and lots of other stuff! Doesn’t like: Sour milk Hobbies: Baking, and having fun in general :p Personality: Curious and adventurous
	Age: Same as Pierre Favorite food: Everything sweet, sushi … well, anything that Pierre likes basically. Doesn’t like: Sour milk, vegetables. Hobbies: Spending time at Pierre’s store (visits him almost everyday), hoping to get free sweets!, watching cartoons, reading manga. Personality: Gets easily excited, talks before thinking sometimes.
	Age: A little older than Missy Favorite food: Healthy food … and CHOCOLATE! (Kind of a weird combo, eh?) Doesn’t like: Deep fried food. Hobbies: Chatting with friends, exercise, reading fashion magazines. Personality: Can be bossy at times (although she means well), cares about her friends.
	Age: Older than the others Favorite food: Everything meat! Doesn’t like: Crowds, public speaking Hobbies: Unknown Personality: Calm
	Age: Unknown Favorite food: Fermented milk Doesn’t like: Pierre, working, early mornings etc… etc… Hobbies: Making evil plans, yelling at her brother Claude Personality: Hasty
	Age: Unknown Favorite food: Fermented herring Doesn’t like: Most stuff Hobbies:”Anything but baking” Personality: Docile
