Hi!

I was supposed to post this page yesterday, but I was still a little unsure about the script and needed a second opinion – so I asked my big sister about it and she helped me back on the right track (^ ^ ) She’s a very talented artist, by the way. So why don’t you check out Cecilia Elfving’s website here. Oh, and she works only with aquarelle, so her style is completely different from mine, just to let you know :p
Anyways, sometimes I take my work too serious and end up having trouble with deciding on what to do. A true perfectionist’s dilemma, indeed (^_^ ;)

Speaking about the script, I can tell you that there’s a very high chance of me changing the comic’s epilogue… again! :/ But relax, because I’m doing this for a reason, and it’ll only help the comic make more sense! Trust me. And with the new epilogue, I can actually get rid of pages 2,3 and 4 as everything you need to know about he story will be covered by the new intro.

Oh, and when I have some time over (I wish) I’m going to prepare some link banners that you can use if you ever want to link to this site. I’ll tweet about it when it’s ready (’> ‘ )

Finally!

It’s been a long time since my last update and to my defense I can tell you it’s been the most busiest month I’ve had this year! It’s been mostly job-related to be honest, but thankfully things have started to slow down again, so I hope I’ll be able to get more pages done soon!

There are two new things on the site since last time (which I can remember at the moment…)
- A ‘Links’ section, where I’ve put up lots of links to sites that are either useful, funny or whatever. For example I have a link to an excellent webcomic tutorial which is well-worth checking out!

- Facebook Fan Page, you’ve probably seen it under my Twitter-feed thingy to the right. If you like the comic and want to show your support, but don’t want to donate money or whatever you can just become a fan! Of course, it’s free and it’s only ONE mouseclick away (^ v ^ )

Well, that’s it for now, I’ll try go get started on the next page ASAP. As a matter of fact, I’ve already sketched out 2-3 pages already, so I can get started on the inking process right away (^ _ ^ )

Oh, and In case you haven’t read my Twitter lately, I’m doing a redesign for Claude and Chloe. I posted a link to the new Chloe concept image Twitter, but I’ll post it here again in case you missed it :) (oh, and I’m thinking about changing her eye shadow color to green… what do you think??).

Hi everyone!

The one thing harder than actually making the comic is promoting it! This is one hard fact that I’ve realized lately!
It doesn’t matter if you’ve got a ground breaking masterpiece of a comic in your hands if no one’s reading it… Promoting a comic on the net is a very hard task indeed, but if you keep at it, it’s going to pay off.
I think I’ve joined about five comic portals now (the ones you can see on the right, plus a few others) some of them offer hosting for your comic, and some of them are just listings… Most of them have got forums, which is a good thing, because they often have sections called “Self promotion” or “Site showcase” etc. where you can tell people about your comic and answer questions and stuff, so that is definitely something you should check out.

I’m thinking of adding a “links” section where I could put links to good sites for people who want to learn how to improve their drawing skills or find art resources and stuff… if you have any suggestions on this or other ways to improve this site, drop me a line! Either by e-mail (mailman-AT-pierreonline.net) or by commenting in the shoutbox to the right.

Firstly, sorry for the late update! (; _ ; ) I’ve just had lots of stuff I’ve had to take care of lately, plus, it’s easter and I’ve been invited for dinner almost every day for the last few days (not exactly a bad thing, though! hehe). And above all – and this is the biggest reason – I’ve changed server!! (^ O ^)

I feel like I HAVE to mention this, because it’s too cool not to, but it’s this totally FREE hosting service called FreeBeeHosting. You can have up to 5 domains and there are no catches! Not even banners!
Of course I felt like I wanted to spread the word anyways, so I placed their banner to the right. Check them out if you’re looking for a new home for your website!

Of course along with the server change there were loooots and lots of problems that I had to take care of. Like updating all the image links, exporting/importing databases etc. etc… it was hard work, but now it should hopefully run fine.
That brings me to another subject, the question that made me do all this in the first place… are there still pop-up banners on this website? I honestly don’t know where the ads came from before, but I suspect it was because I borrowed server space from a friend. I think his hosting service only supports one domain, but if you still add more domains you get the pop-up ads… But that’s only my theory. If you experience any pop-up ads in the future, please let me know!
I will, however, add other kinds of advertisement to this site, to at least TRY to make some money off of this comic, lol (^ . ^* ) I’ll try to look into this later this week.

Other things I’m thinking of is joining the big webcomic websites Comic Genesis and whatever they’re called. I think there are a few…

I used my mountain bike for the first time in many, MANY years today. Actually I had no choice, because my car broke down on me a few weeks ago, and plus, I really needed to buy some new groceries from the supermarket. So I decided to pump the tires, wash it off and just go!
It was such a fine day, and it was so nice to come out and just feel the sunshine after this long winter we’ve had. I also got to do something else than sitting in front of the computer all day, as I usually do :/

Of course I took my trusted backpack with me, to put my stuff in on my way back, but I bought to much groceries that I had to hang a separate bag for half of it on the handle…
I was pretty damn exhausted when I got back home!!
Sweet Jesus… I couldn’t fell my legs! lol (+~+;) But! I didn’t only buy milk and butter and such boring stuff, oh no. I also bought myself a bag of delicious cheese snacks and a beer – which I’m sipping on RIIIGHT NOW! hehe :D … I just had to get those lost calories back that I lost on my trip, you know… (^.^;)

ANYWAYS, next week I’ll probably add two new characters to the characters section. I think I’ll update that at roughly the same time as the comic itself, so don’t forget to check that out!
I’m also thinking of removing the donate hover ad and merge those links along with the others.
I’ll also add a normal PayPal Donate button for those who feel uncomfortable with the solution I have now. And lastly I’ve signed up for ‘Project Wonderful’ ads, so that will be added to in the future.

It’s Saturday!! And… today I don’t feel like doing anything at all :p … I don’t even feel like playing video-games today.. Is it serious? Nah, I have days like this every now and then. Maybe I’ll go and hang out with my neighbor, it’s always fun to have someone to talk to. Or maybe I should try doing some digital painting today? I’ve decided I’m gonna learn how to do it someday, but I always postpone it for some reason (^_^;) Yeah.. painting it is! Yay :)
